ABC defends Raven Symone after thousands petition to fire her from “The View”and Angel Haze fight tweet

INCOMING FADE…

Not only is Raven Symone in danger of getting BOOTED off of The View via the thousands of people who signed a petition for her termination but she could also catch a smooth two piece from music lord, Angel Haze.

SO PEEP THIS MESS…

Y’all’s homie, Raven, has ruffled a whole bunch of feathers over the last few months with her nonsensical comments about being African American, not hiring people with “ghetto” names, etc..

But her latest faux pas occurred when she basically downplayed officer Ben Field’s inexcusable behavior when he excessively manhandled a 16-year-old girl who refused to get off her cell phone and leave a classroom at Spring Valley High School in South Carolina.

The 29-year-old former “Cosby Show” actress said “I think it’s important that we all understand what happened and we don’t know everything. First, she was asked by multiple teachers to put her phone away or to leave the room. We don’t know if she popped off at the mouth. We don’t know what she said, but she did not get up. They called him as a last resort. He talked to her for 30 seconds and she still didn’t get up. She still didn’t put the phone away. You do not need to be manhandling a child that way but at the same time, kids, put your phones away.”

YOU TRIED THE HELL OUT OF IT RAY…

WELL…

Raven’s trollistic comments about the unpalatable offense against the African American teen struck a nerve with over 120,000 pissed off people who signed a petition that she be FIRED as a co-host on “The View” post haste.

The petition reads:

“Raven Symone has been spouting her ignorant and self hating spiel on the view for Long enough, from stating that she wouldn’t hire somebody for having a ghetto name, to openly complaining about reverse racism, the final straw was her comment about the recent viral video of the school police officer assaulting the student, where Raven Symone said “get off your phone in school then”. African Americans and black people around the diaspora need a voice representative of their views and not a voice representative of what white people want us to say. We need strong black rolemodels [sic] in prominent positions on television an Raven Symone cannot provide that. That is why I ask that we petition to remove her from The View.”

BLOOOOOOP

AND

OOOOOOOP

And to make matters worse for Raven, singer Angel Haze took to Twitter offering to FIGHT the former Disney channel starlet for her MESSY comments on the Spring Valley High assault.

On Friday, the Detroit native took her talents to HuffPost Live where she aired out her grievance against the “That So Raven” leading lady.

ABC defends Raven Symone after thousands petition to fire her from

“Yesterday I went on a Twitter rant and I asked Raven-Symoné to fight me, which by the way I totally mean, Angel began.

“Someone needs to smack her because the things that she says are just ridiculous… She said that he [the school officer] didn’t have the right to do that, but also you shouldn’t be on your phone. And that’s just excusing it for such a stupid reason.”

Angel continued, “I read so much about this girl [who was assaulted at Spring Valley High School]. She’s dealing with the loss of her mother and she’s going through all these things and you obviously desocialize yourself when you lose someone who’s so important to you. And then to have someone like an officer who has already been accused of so many things — aggressive manhandling — how can you even dare side with something like that?”

WORD UP…

While Raven is dodging Angel Haze threats and hate from aggy “The View” viewers, a representative at ABC came forward in full support of their controversial host.

“We love Raven,” the rep told E! News. “She is confident, genuine and opinionated, all qualities that make her a great addition to the panel.”

HMMMMMM….

DO YOU THINK RAVEN SYMONE SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM THE VIEW OR DO YOU THINK SHE IS A VITAL CONTRIBUTION TO THE SHOW?
