Ain’t Helping Homie: Usher’s insurance company wants NO parts of his herpes lawsuits

Good Kisser” singer, Usher Raymond–who’s at the center of several STD lawsuits- can kiss any notions of receiving support from his insurance company goodbye.

As if drowning in the puss-filled drippy sludge of complainants claiming to have been exposed to Herpes Simplex 2 during various sexual encounters with the 38-year-old R&B staple wasn’t bad enough, New York Marine and General Insurance Company–the “Bad Girl” boomer’s insurers– says Ush kept them, as well as his sexual partners, in the dark about his alleged case of incurable penis bumps…

The company has filed legal papers arguing that they are under no obligation to defend the “Burn” crooner in his current lawsuits in Georgia and California or any future virus-related suits to come.

According to the court documents, issued on Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court and obtained by PEOPLE, New York Marine claims the policy between them and Usher “does not apply to ‘bodily injury’ … arising out of the transmission of any communicable diseases by insured,” among a laundry list of other reason why they shouldn’t be held financially responsible for the musician’s mess…

Furthermore, the insurance company points to a clause in their policy which expressly states that it “does not provide coverage for an ‘insured’ who has intentionally concealed or misrepresented any material fact or circumstance.”

New York Marine is also shading the “Nice & Slow” singer for conveniently failing to mention the fact he settled another lawsuit, from 2012, for $1.1 million over the same issue..

The company has begun defending him in the Georgia case until a judge rules, and is asking to be reimbursed for any expenses they incur in the meantime, should they prevail in this case.

On Monday, 21-year-old Quantasia Sharpton held a press conference during which she detailed her alleged intimate run-in with Usher on her 19th birthday.

Though the single mother, who stood alongside powerhouse attorney, Lisa Bloom, claimed the “Yeah” vocalist violated her rights as a woman by withholding information about his unfavorable health status, it was later discovered that she fired off a series of eyebrow-raising tweets about “needing money” just days before announcing her lawsuit against Usher.

So far, neither Ush nor his attorneys have publicly commented on these matters…
