Az to Az: Azealia Banks and Iggy Azeala DEAD their beef

In the name of feminism and maturity, longstanding femcee foes, Iggy Azalea and Azealia Banks are apparently ready to put a period at the end of their open-ended online beef…

After years of being dragged through steaming hot digital kangaroo sh** by the 26-year-old “212” spitter for allegedly appropriating black culture without raising an eyebrow in protest over the many injustices plaguing the community… and for referring to herself as “a runaway slave master,” it seems the Australia-born “Fancy” rhymer is now open to meeting up her chicken-slaughtering detractor for a peace-infused fellowship..
On Thursday, Azealia–who initiated the bad blood between her and Iggy after the “Mo Bounce” rapper was featured on the cover of XXL Magazine’s Freshman Class of 2012–shocked the whole block when she took to social media waving the white flag at the bootylicious blonde bombshell she once breathlessly a trolled to the ends of the earth…

In response, Iggy sent the “Liquorice” lyricist an nice/nasty iPhone note reading:
“I just want to say FYI, re: A. Banks. Call me crazy but girl, I don’t hate you. I don’t know you to hate you,” Azalea writes in the screen-shotted note. “I believe you may want to meet me in person so you can steal a lock of my hair and cast a spell hoping I die (lol) I don’t agree with many of your opinions but honestly, at times I empathize with you as a creative Gemini woman. I wish you had spoken to me before deciding I was out to get you when we first came on the scene, but that’s also typical Gemini reaction shit (I get it). As a 27 year old adult woman just know: I wish you well from one human to another and joke collaboration or not as adults we should move past trivial beef with strangers.”

Taking her willingness to embrace some level of tranquility, Azalea then hopped on Snap Chat with a series of videos stating she’s ready to bury the hatchet…

Likewise, Azealia reached out to XXL to elaborate on her developing peace treaty with Iggy…
“I think a true reconciliation can happen once there is some acknowledgment of what hip-hop has been trying to tell her. I still don’t think she quite understands the effect her racial privilege and the socio-economic leverage that comes with it has on a marginalized group of women’s culture,” the “Broke With Expensive Taste” creator said. “Race aside, this is also a women’s issue. I hope that there will be a chance for us to have an open discussion about this, as I feel America and the world could really benefit from some candid discourse between two public figures about the world’s biggest sickness: racism. I wish for women of the future to be able to refer to this moment in women’s culture as an example of what can happen when people take time to understand.”

No telling if the formerly feuding baddies will ever truly see eye to eye…But it’s nice that they’re trying to iron out the wrinkles that have been grooved into their association with one another…
