Bardi Bey??: Cardi B ties Beyoncé in Billboard chart greatness

Who runs the charts? Cardi.

Thanks to her unmistakeable flow, the 25-year-old Bronx-bred baddie has officially reached a Beyonce-level milestone in her career, by placing four tracks in the top 10 slots of the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop song charts, at the same damn time, for two consecutive weeks.

Cardi B’s hit superfecta comes courtesy of her feature on G-Eazy’s “No Limit,” ranked No. 2 on the litty list; followed by her verse on “Motorsport” featuring Migos and Nicki Minaj, earning the No. 3 slot; her debut hit “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)” holding it down at No. 5; and “Bartier Cardi,” featuring 21 Savage, which slides 7-9, according to Billboard.

Beyonce was the only other female artist to ever simultaneously slay a quartet of classics on the charts, back in May 2016, with her award winning Lemonade tracks “Formation,” “Sorry,” “Hold Up,” and “6 Inch.”

In addition to Bardi and Bey, only six other cultural heavyweights have earned four of the top 10 spots in a single week since the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart began on Oct. 20, 1958.

50 Cent first realized the feat back in March 2005, seeing Drake, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Eminem, and Kendrick Lamar join him in the exclusive circle of consecutive hitmaker some time after.
