BeyHive of Life: Beyonce is top pick to voice “Nala” in live-action remake of “The Lion King”

Just when we all thought Jay-Z’s 35-year-old expecting wifey couldn’t outdo herself following her wig-snatching performance at the 2017 Grammy Awards, the director of the forthcoming reboot of Disney’s The Lion King is said to have his sights set on selecting the “Shine” singing chanteuse to slay the voice of the film’s leading lioness…

Unsurprisingly, Beyoncé is said to the top pick of Hollywood honeys to lend her vocal talents to the character of “Nala” in Jon Favreau’s live-action remake of the 1994 animated classic… And the #BeyHive is steady roaring with excitement over their fave’s potential participation in the movie…

While Yonce–who announced she was pregnant with twins in February– has yet to agree to giving vocal-life to Simba’s wife, according to Variety, the studio behind the Lion King remake will do whatever it takes to accommodate her needs.
Donald Glover is reportedly on board to voice Simba and James Earl Jones is reprising his role as Simba’s father, Mufasa.
No word on if/when Bey will officially join the list of big screen heavy-hitters in the impending re-make… But we are totally here for her completing the super-lit circle of cinematic life…
