Beyoncé starts fund to aid in Flint water crisis

While flawlessly dodging SO NASTY SO RUDE shade being tossed at her “Formation” music video by former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Beyoncé Knowles is taking action to assist in the long term healthcare for the children of Flint, Michigan.

In addition to shaking up the BeyHive with tea of her upcoming North American and European tour, the 34-year-old “Drunk In Love” crooner has also revealed that she has started a fund for youth suffering from the Flint water crisis.

A Live Nation announcement on Yonce’s The Formation World Tour states “True to her life’s work of always giving back, fans will be given the opportunity to participate in Beyoncé’s #BeyGOOD initiative supporting local United Way programs and the continued work surrounding the water crisis in Flint, Michigan.”

The United Way of Genesee County has partnered with the Community Foundation of Greater Flint to create the Flint Child Health and Development Fund “that will address long-term developmental, education, nutrition and health needs of the children affected by the Flint Water Crisis,” the announcement reads. 

 
Beyonce, whose 37-date tour includes a May 29 stop at Ford Field in Detroit, joins Diddy, Big Sean, Meek Mill, The Game and more in the relief effort for the city of Flint.
