Beyonce’s “Lemonade” causes major rise in lemon emoji use

ONE TIME FOR THE SOUR SHORTY…

Inconspicuously nestled underneath the orange and strawberry fruit emojis lies a little yellow lemon that recently went from being a forgettable text icon to dominating social media feeds in representation of world renown music icon, Beyonce.

GOD USES THE MEEK..

PEEP THIS..

By now, it’s no secret that Beyonce’s #BeyHive is ready to rumble at the slightest inclination of disrespect towards their “Flawless” god…

And following the release of her latest album, Lemonade, the #Hive tweeted the lemon emoji approximately 2 MILLION times on Twitter alone (not counting the times it was used on Instagram, SnapChat, Facebook, etc) in demonstration of their allegiance to the queen.

According to Twitter, 62% of the tiny sour fruit’s image used this month were tweeted since the 34-year-old songstress debuted her Lemonade film on HBO and dropped the album via TIDAL on April 23.

As previously reported on Cheekywiki, fans of the “Crazy In Love” crooner held nothing back in their vicious digital attack on Rachel Roy, Rachel Ray, Piers Morgan, Iggy Azalea, and Azealia Banks for acting up in regards to Bey’s new project; thus, a number of their respective mentions were flooded with lemon emojis..

Likewise, riders for Jay-Z’s wife used their signature bee emoji in 1.8 MILLION tweets as they relentlessly repp’ed for Lemonade

All tolled, if you’re not interested in getting pelted with a mili fruits and stung by a bunch of bees, mind your mouth as it pertains to Beyonce.
