Big Mad: 50 Cent trolls Starz over “Power” changes; threatens to leave the show

50 Cent may soon be subtracting his on-screen skills from his hit Starz show, Power, due to the premium cable network’s executive decision to make unfavorable changes to the series’ most recent episode.
On Monday, Queens’ 41-year-old gangster rapping son turned Hollywood honcho angrily took to Instagram with digital daggers pointed at Starz for allegedly derailing the sequence of events in Sunday night’s airing– which would have been a two-part installation of his edge-snatching program…
“If the biggest show in your [network] doesn’t mean anything, what does your network means STARZ? I’m taking my talents to south beach f**k this,” a pissed TF off Fif wrote.

According to Power showrunner, Courtney Kemp, Starz–who allegedly refused requests to add two more shows to the series’ 10-episode per season deal– forced executives to jam a mix of stories into one episode.
“We were going to do two separate episodes: One was going to be Ghost, Kanan, Tariq, Jukebox, and the kidnapping; and one was going to be just Tommy on his journey to Chicago and what happens there,” she explained to Entertainment Weekly. “Unfortunately, Starz would not give us the extra episode. I asked them for 12 episodes for season 4 and they would not do it. So because they would not do it, we had to make it one episode. That’s the real answer. The upshot was that we had to lose some story lines and some story.”
In the past, 50 Cent has taken to social media to air out his grievances with Power, Starz, and his fellow creatives on the project; however, this is one of the first times we see the rapper questioning his future with the show…
