Big Sean is helping students at his former high school get one step closer to achieving their musical aspirations…

The 27-year-old Dark Sky Paradise has joins his Sean Anderson Foundation with Adidas Originals to build recording studios in Detroit’s Cass Tech High School.

According to the Detroit Free Press, Sean’s implementation of the 784-square-foot studio space will serve as an important part of the school’s music curriculum.

A few days ago, the “IDFWU,” rhymer took to Instagram captioning a photo of himself at the high school announcement with, “I can’t believe I used to rap at the lunch tables, slang my CD’s in the hallways, and fast foward less than 10 years later I’m opening up my own recording studio at my old High School Cass Tech for the students! This brings me tears of Joy! Thank u for making this happen @adidasoriginals.”
