Birdman on Rick Ross’ “Idols Become Rivals”: “I don’t get caught up in hoe sh**”

NUMBERS THE WORD…

Though the not-so-subtle jabs Rick Ross sent Birdman man’s way on newly dropped Rather You Than Me track, “Idols Become Rivals,” left most Hip-Hop heads stunned, the game’s self-proclaimed “#1 Stunna” says getting tripped up by Rozay’s petty prattle is for the birds…

BOOOM BOOOM…

On Thursday, the internet snapped in half thanks to the shade-ridden debut of the 41-year-old MMG boss’ ninth studio album..

On song “Idols Become Rivals,” Renzel makes clear his less-than-fuzzy feelings towards the 47-year-old side-eye inciting leader of Cash Money Records by dragging him for his struggly relationship with Lil Wayne as well as his longstanding reputation of wrongfully withholding royalty funds from his artists/employees.

“Catholic record labels, n—as gettin’ raped, boy /Birdman’s a priest, moans in his synagogue /Publishing is his sin, repent, forgive me, Lord,” Ross raps before further trolling the Louisiana born millionaire for his alleged thievery.

“I pray you find the kindness in your heart for Wayne/ His entire life, he gave you what there was to gain / I watched this whole debacle, so I’m part to blame/ Last request, can all producers please get paid?,” he says elsewhere on the track..

WELLLLLL…

When asked his response to Rick’s merciless digs, Birdman let it be known to Billboard that his unshakeable confidence is in the digits he’s accomplished throughout his nearly three decade long history in the music business.

“I don’t get caught up in hoe sh-t, man. I just keep doing what I’m doing and keep pushing,” the mogul said. “I don’t get caught up in that, I don’t play like that. I’m a man and I stand my ground and I do my thing. Numbers don’t lie, and that’s all I give a f–k about: numbers, and puttin’ them up.”

SOUNDS VERY NICKI MINAJ-ISH…

IS THIS RESPONSE TEMPLATE THE CASH MONEY/YOUNG MONEY HANDBOOK???

Shortly following the the verbal battle-axes he swung at Bridman’s head, Ross took to Instagram pleading for Lil Wayne’s freedom for his record deal with Cash Money… Sentiments he later echoed during his performance at SXSW 2017 in Texas.

PEEP…

 Wayne responded with:
