Bloody Shoe Bop: Cardi B to perform at The Grammys

Music’s biggest night will soon become music’s BODAK-est night, as Cardi B has just been added to the line-up of litty performers at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards.


Slaying her debut at the highly regarded celebration of virtuoso excellence, Bronx’s 25-year-old “Bartier Cardi” spitting daughter is poised to execute a show-stopping performance alongside her five-time Grammy Award winning “Finesse” collaborator, Bruno Mars, according to a statement via the Recording Academy.

Receiving her first ever Grammy nods in the categories for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song (“Bodak Yellow“), Cardi joins culture heavyweights SZA, Childish Gambino, Lady Gaga, Pink, and Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee on the list of luminaries to shake the building during the 2018 ceremony.

Her fellow first-time Grammy nominees, Alessia Cara, Khalid, and Logic, will take the stage with a group of suicide attempt and loss survivors selected by the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline in a special performance delivering an important message.

The 60th Annual Gray Awards, hosted by James Corden, will air on CBS live from NYC’s Madison Square Garden on January 28.
