Chinx Drugz’s family creates GoFundMe account to raise money for his children

The extended family of slain rapper Lionel “Chinx Drugz” Pickens has established a memorial fund in effort to raise money to help support his wife and three kids.

Thus far, hip-hop heads and STANs of the late 31-year-old “Coke Boy” crooner have donated over $11,000 in charitable funds via his GoFundMe account.

The message featured on Chinx’s official crowd sourcing page, managed by the Pickens family, Mungin family, and Four King Management, highlights his children’s need for monetary support and details his upcoming funeral arrangements.

Arrangements are as follows:

Wake: Tuesday May 26th 2015 11am

The Greater Allen A.M.E Cathedral of New York

110-31 Merrick Blvd, Jamaica N.Y. 11433

Funeral: Tuesday May 26th 2015 12 Noon

The Greater Allen A.M.E Cathedral of New York

110-31 Merrick Blvd, Jamaica N.Y. 11433

The family writes, “As you can imagine, in today’s challenging economic climate, losing your primary source of income can be devastating. When that loss is due to the unexpected death, it leaves a void that can never truly be filled. Instead of sending flowers, please consider helping the family fill part of the financial void. Your donations will help provide much needed financial stability to a family who deserves so much more than what they have been dealt. We cannot replace the warmth, charisma, wit, charm, and love that Chinx gave to not only his family, and friends, but also, his fans. We can however, help keep them focused on what really matters, and that is each other.”

As reported on Cheekywiki, though police have NOT made any arrests in Chinx’s case , there is speculation his death may be connected to the murder of fellow Queens rapper, Stack Bundles.
