Clink Clink: R. Kelly’s robbery suspect arrested

R. Kelly’s homie—the guy accused of robbing him blind during the Thanksgiving holiday—is finally in police custody.

While justice might arguably have been miscarried in a number of cases involving the 50-year-old “I️ Believe I️ Can Fly” crooner, it’s seems to have been aptly served in regards to his two Atlanta homes being completely emptied out by an ex-friend of nearly three decades.

Per Georgia’s Johns Creek Police Department, the alleged mastermind behind R. Kelly’s burglaries, Alfonso Walker, reportedly turned himself in, Monday, on charges stemming from the heist.

Ol’ boy was booked on 2 counts of burglary, 2 counts of theft by taking and 2 counts of theft by deception, according to TMZ.

As previously reported on Cheekywiki, a number of the “Seems Like You’reReady” singer’s possessions were said to have been located in Alfonso’s home, after movers named him as the person who hired them to clear out Kellz’s cribs.

An arrest warrant was issued for Alfonso—who served as a part-time employee for the Grammy Award recipient—after he failed to turn himself into police custody, last Tuesday.

R. Kelly released a statement thanking Johns Creek PD and fans for their support.

…Still encouraged. Still blessed.
