During a recent interview with OWN’s “Where Are They Now,” comedian D. L. Hughley BURST into tears over the progress his 26-year-old son has made despite being diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome.

As he sat down with the Oprah Winfrey produced show, the 52-year-old actor opened up about his career, personal life and his son Kyle’s battle with Aspergers– a diagnosis given to people who have difficulties socializing and must stick to specific routines.

Though the “Original King Of Comedy,”didn’t get emotional when he gave drop about CHEATING on his wife, LaDonna Hughley, all throughout their marriage, D.L. could NOT fight back the tears as spoke about his son’s recent victory with  Aspergers.

“Everything has to be the same. He goes to work at the same time, he eats the same thing. Three weeks ago, I was getting gas and he said ‘Daddy, I’ll do it,” he said.

“I’m a nervous wreck. He comes back in and he gives me the receipt and the keys,” the comedian says as he starts tearing up. “I could not stop crying because he did something he was afraid to do.I just didn’t believe he could do it and he did it. I just held him and said, ‘You’re going to be alright.’”
