Tamar Braxton retiring from R&B to “eliminate all the stress” in her marriage

I QUIT…

Tamar Braxton is “protecting what’s important” by chucking the deuces at her career as a chanteuse and focusing all her energies on saving her marriage to Vincent Herbert.

On the heels of announcing that her forthcoming fifth album would be the final addition to her discography, Rhythm and Blues’ Bluebird of Happiness creator revealed she’s forfeiting a lifetime on the mic to become a better mother and wife…

THIS is my BEST & LAST album! Enjoy🐦

“There are a lot of things that I want to do, and a lot of things that are in the works,” Tamar spilled with chopping it up with Entertainment Tonight. “There’s a lot of things that are going on in my relationship and me being close to this music industry, and whatever I can do to eliminate all of the stress and problems off of my relationship, I would rather do that.”

Noting the ups and downs she’s experienced with her 44-year-old music mogul hubby throughout their nine years of marriage, Toni Braxton’s 40-year-old reality star-turned-R&B baddie baby sis further acknowledged the stresses constant togetherness has had on their long term relationship.

“My husband and I work very close together and it’s really hard, you know?,” she said. “Not only do we work together, he is my baby daddy and, you know, we’ve been together forever. He’s my best friend. It’s a lot of things to discuss and argue about.”

Tamar—who, over the last few years, has enjoyed a busy professional schedule including slaying alongside her sisters on Braxton Family Values, briefly co-hosting on The Real, and more— made it clear why she’s recommitting herself to her household responsibilities…

“This is just my job,” the “Love And War” singer said of her time in the limelight. “When I go home, that’s my home. I always want to keep my home a sanctuary and somewhere safe. Not just for me, but for my husband and my kid.”

Tamar Braxton’s Bluebird of Happiness, is poised to drop on September 29. She will, however, continue to write songs for other artists.
