Drake becomes first Hip-Hop artist to top Billboard 100 chart

GOING UP…

Drizzy’s making Hip-Hop history during black history month.

Last night, Drake revealed to his 7.3 million Instagram followers that he is the FIRST Hip Hop artist to ever TOP Billboards’s Artist 100 chart.

YASSSS.

In a weeks time the “Successful,” rapper moved from the #2 spot on on the Billboard 100 list to the coveted FIRST PLACE position.

The 27-year-old Canadian posted a screen shot of the good news accompanied by “on my own for real,” as the caption.

His Billboard accomplishments are the only thing Drake’s “Going Up,” about. He’s recently BROKE his own Spotify streams record with his latest mixtape, “If You’re Reading This Its Too Late.”

KILLIN THE COMP with 15.4 million streams of his album, “Nothing was the Same,” back on 2013, Drizzy’s newest release has earned him well over 18 million streams in only a few days. AND he’s already sold over 500,000 copies of the album without even breaking a sweat.

YOU GO BOY.
