Easy, Breezy, Boy If You Don’t..: Young Thug catches heat from CoverGirl for slogan trolling

BREEZY DEEZ NUTZ…

Apparently, things between “Best Friend” rapper, Young Thug, and cosmetics brand, CoverGirl aren’t so easy and breezy as the make-up masters have met the lyricist with a professional readddddd for wrongfully biting their longstanding slogan for his latest project…
Controversy surrounding Thugger Thug’s June 16th LP, Beautiful Thugger Girls–which was originally titled Easy Breezy Beautiful Thugger Girls— sparked when 25-year-old Gucci dress wearing emcee shared a promotional video for the album which features a series of violent scenes accompanied by fleeting images of CoverGirl’s “Easy, Breezy, Beautiful” tag-line.
In the clip, a woman is seen being jumped by the masked ladies of Jeffery’s E.B.B.T.G. gang. After being knocked unconscious, the victim is forced into a truck that carries her to the thuggish ruggish clique’s headquarters…

There, shorty’s many facial wounds are crudely covered with pieces of duct tape individually marked with the familiar words of the make-up line’s famed trademark…

Young thug covergirl

WELL…

Following the drop of the Atlanta native’s eyebrow-raising visuals, CoverGirl released a nice/nasty draggg of the Hip-Hop heavyweight for his failure to request permission to use their catchphrase in his contemptible promo vid…

“CoverGirl was not contacted by Young Thug or any parties regarding his original album title,” said a statement from the company to Complex. “The album is not aligned with our values at CoverGirl. Violence and abuse are unacceptable behaviors. We do not support the use or association of our iconic slogan ‘Easy, Breezy, Beautiful, CoverGirl’ with Young Thug’s video, album or promotional material.”
So far, Thug’s only response to the five decade old beauty brand’s reprimand has been the slight, yet noticeable, change in his album’s title.

The rapper–who recently caught some backlash for comparing himself to late lyrical legend, TuPac Shakur– has yet to openly address his minor beef with CoverGirl…
