Goodness Gates: Kevin Gates to council troubled teens upon release from prison

Kick-happy rapper, Kevin Gates, wants to kick some “Get it TF Together” knowledge to troubled youth as soon as he gets out of jail…

Ahead of his upcoming release from an Illinois state penitentiary, this week, the 31-year-old Louisiana-bred emcee is reportedly planning to advise wayward teens against leading a life of crime and disarray by sharing personal anecdotes with the kids in effort to scare them straight.

His attorney, Herschel Rush, tells TMZ the “Really Really” rhymer will reach out to various organizations — including the Boys & Girls Club — to share stories about his regrettable decisions.

As previously reported on Cheekywiki, a spokesperson from the Illinois Department of Correction recently revealed Kevin is scheduled to be released on Wednesday, after serving 9 months of his 30-month prison sentence for an outstanding weapons-related warrant.

Kevin was placed on lockdown in Chicago, back in March, just one day after he was released from jail in Florida for kicking a female fan in the chest during a concert back in 2015.
