Meek Mill seeking judge’s removal from his case for “unjust” sentence

All Eyes On You” rapper, Meek Mill, has his sights set on exposing the alleged unprofessionalism of the judge who handed him an “unjust” prison sentence for probation violation.

Whilst currently serving a 2 to 4 year bid for trampling the terms of his release agreement stemming from a 2008 weapons case, Philadelphia’s 30-year-old “House Party” rhymer alongside his lawyer, Joe Tacopina, are reportedly filing a motion to have judge Genece Brinkley recuse herself from his case, and will also issue an official complaint with the judicial conduct board against sis.

As previously reported on Cheekywiki, Meek and his attorney believe the judge has a personal vendetta out against the Hip-Hop honcho because he refused to remix a Boyz II Men song, giving her a shout out on the track.

The “R.I️.C.O.” rapper’s legal reps says Meek will also be applying to Pennsylvania’s Board of Pardons, according to TMZ…However, that effort is said to be a 3-year process at least.

As for the online petition calling for Pennsylvania governor, Tom Wolf, to re-evaluate the Dream Chaser’s “unjust prison sentence” — which is now 300,000 strong — a spokesperson for Wolf released a statement saying the governor’s hands are tied by state law; thus, the digital call-to-action probably won’t make a difference in the case.

Notellingwhatwill help Meek Mill see the light of day any time before completing his sentence.

On Monday, a rally seeking justice for the “Lord Knows” lyricist is scheduled to take place at Philly’s Criminal Justice Center at 5:00 PM.
