Hate U So Much Right Now: Nas alleges Kelis refuses to let him see his son on the regular

Nas is apparently struggling to get along with his “Get Along With You” singing baby mama, Kelis, as it pertains to parenting rights over their eight-year-old son, Knight.

OOOOOOOP…

After years on years on years of trying to “work cooperatively with Kelis,” concerning their kid, the 44-year-old Queensbridge native is now taking matters into his own hands with a tentative parenting schedule, seeing both he and the R&B singer have equal time with the boy.

Per newly filed legal documents, obtained by the Blast, the “One Mic” spitter claims Kelis only “allows” him to exercise his custody with their son “when she deems it convenient for her.”

Nas—who enjoyed a marriage to Kelis in 2005, until she filed for divorce in 2009— goes on to charge the “Milkshake” songstress with “refusing to set up time for our son and me to spend time together.”

Thus, the heralded Hip-Hop Hero proposed a baby schedule for for him and Kelis to adhere to:

Nas reportedly wants Knight on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th weekend of every month.

Under the rapper’s proposal, he’ll get to enjoy their baby boy on Father’s Day, who’ll then spend Mother’s Day with Kelis.

Likewise, both parents will get to celebrate their own birthday with the child.

As for the other holidays:

• Kelis gets Halloween in even years, Nas gets odd.

• Kelis gets July 4 in even years, Nas gets odd.

• Kelis gets Summer Break in odd years, Nas gets even.

• Kelis gets Thanksgiving in odd years, Nas gets even.

• Kelis gets the child’s birthday in odd years, Nas gets even

Nas’ schedule doesn’t indicate the division of their little one for Christmas specifically, but it does mention a December/January school break.

The judge has not yet ruled on Nas’ request.
