Jay-Z and Tidal sued for $5 MILLION

Jigga man may have had a major gain by adding Hip-Hop heavyweight, T.I., to his roster of artist/co-owner on his Tidal music streaming service but that win is being counterbalanced with an L as the company has been hit with a major lawsuit…

Yesh Music, LLC and American Dollar band member, John Emanuele, are suing Hov and TIDAL to the tune of $5 Million for their alleged failure to pay out royalties to the artists. 
According to the suit obtained by TheJasmineBrand, Jay’s service has streamed 116 of the band’s songs and never paid royalties.

In addition, the legal docs state that TIDAL inaccurately calculated their numbers which caused artist to lose out on as much as 35 percent of their earned COIN..

Though Tidal does NOT release streaming stats to the public, the lawsuit sustains that the artists are supposed to receive monthly statistics on royalty payments and usage of every song, but word on the curb has it they ain’t received a got damn thing yet…

The news of the $5,000,000 lawsuit against the Brooklyn boy’s musical endeavor comes days after Samsung engaged in talks about buying out be streaming service.
