Jay-Z’s Tidal loses Drake and Pharrell Williams to Apple?

WHATS A TIDAL….

Jay-z’s music streaming service keeps making headlines, but not for anything positive…

First there were talks Kanye West DIPPED out on Jay to sign with Apple. Then, Tidal got BASHED for not hiring black people. Which was immediately followed by Sony’s threat to remove music Beyonce and all there other artists from the streaming service if HOV didn’t come up with the money….

GAH ZAMN.
GAH ZAMN.
GAH ZAMN.

Well this week, Jigga man’s Tidal is actually being DRAINED of talent, after losing potential affiliation with a heavy hitting hip-hop honcho to its biggest rival, Apple iTunes.

SO CATCH….

Drake was supposed to be one of the 16 artists partnering with Jay in Tidal…

BUT

Rumor has it, the 28-year-old “Nothing was the Same,” emcee reneged on his promise to sign alongside Kanye, Beyonce, Usher, Nicki Minaj, and Madonna just two days before Tidal’s launch event, back in March.

WELLLL….

Drizzy may have backed out on the 45-year-old music mogul’s music streaming service in order to sign a FAT A** deal with it competitor, Apple.
Word on the curb is, Drake inked a $19 MILLION dollar deal to serve as a guest DJ for iTunes Radio.

THERE’s VERY LITTLE WE WOULDN’T RENEGE ON FOR $19,000,000 …..

AND IF LOSING THE 6god WASNT BAD ENOUGH….

Jay-z friend and collaborator on hit tracks like “Change Clothes,” and “Excuse Me Miss,” Pharrell Williams, has also agreed to join Apple in its new music venture.

The official announcement of Drizzy and Skate P’s deal with Apple is scheduled to be made during the 2015 Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco next week (June 8-12).

According to the Post, in addition to throwing big COIN at top selling artists, Apple is preparing to outdo its competitors by combining elements of Pandora, Spotify and YouTube for its music attending service.

The new Apple Music roll out could include music and video streaming, artists’ pages, and a post-it-yourself platform called Apple Connect.

WELP….

Though things are NOT looking good for Jay-X, there could always be a turn-around in circumstances…
We do LIVE to root for the underdog…

In the words of Drake, “I GOT HIGH HOPES FOR YOU N****, WE GON SEE….
