Jazmine Sullivan’s ex caused temporary DEAFNESS during ABUSIVErelationship

ULTRA THICK songstress, Jazmine Sullivan talked candidly to Power 105.1 FM’s “The Breakfast Club” hosts about having to grow

a THICK SKIN as she secretly suffered through an ABUSIVE relationship during her THREE YEAR hiatus from music.

Though she told Twitter her reason form taking a break from singing was because it was NO LONGER fun, Jazmine TOLD Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy, and Angela Yee TEA about the real reason she DROPPED HER MIC.

“I left music because I was in a really bad relationship and it had gotten abusive,” the “Lions and Tigers and Bears” singer SPILLED. “It had gotten to be too much just having to deal with the industry and that my personal life was so bad. So I had to go for a second.

YASSSSSSSS.

As she promoted the release of her third album, “Reality Show,” (named for her love of programs like “Love and Hip Hop) she told the New York City morning show hosts that her abuser almost caused her to leave her singing career behind, PERMANENTLY.

She says, “I never told this before but something happened with my ear. He slapped me so hard that I couldn’t hear,” to which the trio of hosts all replied, “WOW.”

The “Forever doesn’t last,” singer continued with her tragic antidote with “I’m like, I might not be able to sing and that kind of woke me up. Like, something I’ve been trying to do all my life, I love to do, I might not be able to do because of this relationship.” DJ Envy added, “[he was] bout to take your gift away.”

Despite her horrific past, the smiley singer happily stated, “I’m back. I’m out of the relationship.”

 YOU BETTER GO HEAD GIRL!
