#JusticeForMeek: Rick Ross and rap fans protest for Meek Mill’s freedom

“Free Meek Mill, Free Meek Mill,” is currently being chanted outside Philadelphia’s Criminal Justice Center by fans protesting the rapper’s harsh prison sentence for violating the terms of his probation.

On Monday, thousands of Hip-Hop heads took to Philly streets demanding the re-evaluation of the “I’m A Boss” rhymer’s 2 to 4 year bid behind bars for getting arrested twice this year, while on 12 year probation for a 2008 weapons charge.

Reppin for his incarcerated Maybach Music Group signee, Rick Ross is said to be heading down to the rally to join music fans, Julius Erving, Philadelphia Eagles players, and local entertainers as they call for “justice” to be served in Meek’s case.

As previously reported on Cheekywiki, culture influencers such as Jay-Z, T.I️., Kevin Hart, and more have called Meek Mill’s sentence “unjust”…which was followed by an online petition asking Pennsylvania governor, Tom Wolf, to override the judge’s ruling—a request that reportedly can not be fulfilled due to state law.
