K. Michelle “not surprised” by mentor R. Kelly’s sex-cult accusations

K. Michelle is everything BUT shocked by explosive allegations her “controlling” mentor, R. Kelly, psychologically manipulated a small collection of women into an abusive “sex-cult.”

Ahead of her forthcoming fourth studio album, Kimberly: The People I Used To Know, Love and Hip-Hop‘s 33-year-old “Build A Man” chanteuse candidly revealed her empathy for the presumed captives of her “I Believe I Can Fly” crooning music industry adviser and vowed to stand in solidarity with the 50-year-old R&B veteran’s alleged voiceless victims..

On the cult charges being made against R. Kelly, K. Michelle told Billboard, “I’m not surprised by them, I’m actually going to be speaking more about it because I do feel like it’s my obligation as a woman to tell the truth and to do right by other females that are in the business and all these young women who don’t have a voice.”

After likening the public’s disparagement of Kells’ accusers to the mass criticism she endure after unveiling her violent relationship with another prominent Hip-Hop figure, K. said she’s currently seeking a platform on which to adequately advocate for the abused harem…

“… I can honestly tell you right now that I have yet to find the proper platform and the proper way to protect and voice my support for these women. I’m not here to bash but right is right and wrong is wrong. That’s all I can really say right now,” the “VSOP” creator served.

When asked if she believed the accusations against the “Down Low” singer were valid, K. replied, “I can’t speak on it. I do believe that in every piece of the story there’s something that is true.”

She added, “I’ve learned so much from my mentor and it’s just the right time and place to say things, to do it properly so that the people you’re trying to help are actually helped instead of taunted so I’ll be speaking more about it but I’ll be doing it in the right way.”

Elsewhere, the engaged Tennessee native spilled on plans to expand her family.

“We just started the process two, three weeks ago [for surrogacy],” K said of her and dentist fiancé, Dr. Kastan Sims.

“I wants twins and I had this big lupus scare. Like they called me and said I had lupus and then I so then I was freaking out, had to run to the doctor, go to a specialist, it came back negative. So then I went to a fertility doctor, we’ve been going through all of that and just because I want twins, they’re saying because I’m so little I won’t be able to carry twins to full term,” she continued.

“So this big process, I’m gonna have to pick a surrogate and everything and that’s very nerve-wracking and I have an album coming out, I’m gonna have to try and prepare. New babies are coming and it’s really something we’ve been wanting. I just want to make the right decision when it comes to picking a surrogate and that process has completely started.”
