Kendrick Lamar’s “i” (i love myself) gets mixed reviews

Kendrick Lamar released new single, “i” (I love myself)  from his upcoming and highly anticipated sophomore album

Though the song JUST hit us, it’s already receiving mixed reviews. LA based musician Rahki produced the track that some say is, “just to CORNY for Hip Hop.”

The track opens with, ” we got a young brother who stands for something,” letting listeners know they are in for an uplifting message from the Cali rapper. The song differs form most current main stream hip hop in its message as “i” highlights the positives in life. Kendrick uses a number of different flows and styles while rapping about LOVING HIMSELF.

A LESSON WE CAN ALL BENEFIT FROM.

According to Complex.com,  it looks as if  Kendrick’s long-awaited sophomore album will DROP some time this year.
They better hurry the HELL up, unless he PLANNED on releasing a Christmas album.
On Sept. 17, Kendrick tweeted the album cover depicting members of the BLOODS AND CRIPS making hearts with their hands together.
