Keyshia Cole turned down an over $1 million deal to join Love And Hip Hop [VIDEO]

Contrary to popular belief, Keyshia Cole does NOT come cheap, honey.
And if you let the Bay Area bred beauty tell it, she turned down an offer of over $1,000,000 to sign-on as a cast member on Love And Hip Hop.

Today, the tatted up 35-year-old “Should’ve Cheated” chanteuse took her talents to Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club morning show to spill guts on what’s going on in her life and to dispel tea surrounding her personal and professional endeavors.

When asked about her rumored upcoming participation in Mona Scott Young’s super lit reality TV series, Keyshia gave drop on how close she came to joining the likes of Yandy Smith, Juelz Santana, Remy Ma, and more on the small screen.

“Mona reached out to me a few times and reached out to Remy [Ma] and reached out to my management and was just asking if I would be willing to do it. And I was just like, I think it’s a great platform for artists you know if you do it right. I wouldn’t want to be in like all the crazy stuff.”

In reference to gossip she’d rake in approximately $1.5 million for hopping on the Love And Hip Hop roster, the “Love” crooner said, “We shot some numbers around and I told her what it would take for me to be on the show and she said she would go back and try to get with them because it was like a number that obviously [high]…”

And while the reality TV feening world was all set to reintroduce Frankie’s Grammy nominated daughter back onto their hearts via VH1’s messy Mondays programming, Keyshia made it clear that she voluntarily backed out of getting involved with the project.

“You know what, after all that stuff got thrown out there,” she said. “I just didn’t like the energy of it all. So, I just said, ‘Nah, I’m cool, I’m alright.’”

When it came to her ex-boo thang, Daniel “Boobie” Gibson’s rumored role on the show, Keyshia– who jokingly said the NBA baller would either have to take way less than the amount she was offered or give her a large portion of his earnings– made it clear that he’s 100% down to support her goals, no matter what.

“[Boobie] would be a part of anything I do because we’re co-parenting. I would love to show that. I mean, we have a great relationship,” she confirmed.
Later in her interview, Keyshia chatted about her long awaited album, denied rumors she egged Lil Bow Wow’s car, and spilled on having a small crush on a McDonald’s employee.
