Knifing MiMi: Mariah Carey allegedly underwent weight loss surgery after being fat shamed by internet trolls

Shake It Off” chanteuse, Mariah Carey, has reportedly decided to cut it off—a large portion of her belly that is—in order to shut the mouths of body shamers, and finally regain her once splendidly snatch stomach.

Fat-be-gone is said to be MC’s new M.O. as the 47-year-old Grammy Awards winning diva allegedly opted for weight loss surgery, last month, after being overcome with a devastating sense of self consciousness… following a wave of criticism about her sizeable weight gain.
Sources connected to MiMi spill to PageSix claiming the “Honey” singing honey underwent gastric sleeve surgery— a procedure which involves removing part of the stomach so that the patient feels fuller more quickly—on the heels of being trolled by digital draggers who’d poked hella fun at the pounds she packed during a tour, this summer.
“Mariah has always been proud of her curves, but this summer, as her Caesars Palace residency came to a close, and then she went on tour with Lionel Richie, she noticed it became harder to dance, and she was getting a lot more criticism online from body shamers,” an insider served.

Thanks to surgery and cutting back on decadent dinners and high-calorie cocktails on date nights with boo thang, Bryan Tanaka—who’s now her day-to-day manager—sources claim, “Mariah is already seeing some good results, and she feels a lot better.”
At this point, neither the “Obsessed” songstress nor any members of her team have yet to confirm or deny claims she sliced her stomach for skinny-girl greatness…
After having her and Nick Cannon’s twins back in 2011, Mariah attributed her 70 pound weight loss to diet and exercise.

“I never weighed myself. People will think I’m a liar but it’s true . . . I’m a big-boned girl, I’m tall, and so I always weigh more,” the “Always Be My Baby” boomer said in regards to losing her baby weight.

“I would tend to go, ‘Does this size dress fit me that I wore three years ago?’ . . . I would go by what it looked like, how I felt.”
