Lil Trouble: Kodak Black handed 364 days in jail for violating terms of his probation

BRIEF TIME OUT…

After being found guilty of violating the terms of his probation by taking unapproved trips to strip clubs and boozing matches last month, Kodak Black has been a little given less than a year behind bars for his messy infractions…

Today, the 19-year-old “No Flockin” spitter –who’s been in the Broward Main Jail in downtown Fort Lauderdale since Feb. 28– stood for judge Michael Lynch in a sentencing hearing where he was handed a 364 day bid for willfully fading the court-mandated limitations on his freedom graciously given to him by Judge Lisa Porter in 2016 for a number of serious charges….

During his hearing, Kodak reportedly issued an impassioned apology to the courts as well as his family and friends for his inexcusable behavior.

“I know the fact my life is in your hands right now,” the Painting Pictures rapper said to the judge, according to Sun Sentinel reporter, Brett Clarkson. “Depending on the outcome of this case, it can be the beginning of my career, or the end of my career.”
He added, “I also apologize to my mother. On April 26, when she broke down in tears, it pierced my heart.”

In light of Kodak’s remorseful plea, coupled with statements from his loved ones and a solemn promise from Atlanta Records representative, Mike Kushner, that the label is willing to hire a full-time mentor and advisor to give the “Tunnel Vision,” rapper guidance/structure, the judge clearly saw fit to go easy on the kid with a light sentence and an option to get out sooner — though prosecutors reportedly wanted him to serve an 8 year sentence.
