Lil Wayne’s team tried BLOCKING his Black Lives Matter rant from airing

WE BUYING IT OR NO???
If you still feel a way about Lil Wayne’s unsavory statements aimed at the Black Lives Matter movement, the luminary lyricist’s camp reportedly wants you to know that they tried to have the interview tossed out after the ABC News interviewer hit him over the head with some rough questions about his daughter…
SIDE EYE..
This week, Hip-Hop junkies around the world hit a collective grimace when footage from the 34-year-old Young Money’s sit down with Nightline’s Linsey Davis went viral due to his proclamation that he felt “no connection,” to the international movement set out to end violence and systematic racism against the African American community.
“I don’t feel connected to a damn thing that ain’t got nothin’ to do with me,” Weezy said in response to questions about Black Lives Matter. “”My life matters. Especially to my b**hes.”
BRUHHHHH…

In light of the massive backlash he received for his troubling comments, the “Sorry For The Wait,” rhymer released an explanation and an apology to anyone he offended with his words..

WELLL NOW…
Sources connected to the Hollygrove reppin heavy-hitter spilled to TMZ claiming his team sent ABC several emails BEGGING them to trash the horrific interview, but the network never responded.
Allegedly, Tunechi’s distasteful prattle against the BLM fight was sparked by Linsey’s questions about his 16-year-old daughter hypothetically being referred to as a “b****h,” or a hoe.
Rumor has it the “Fireman,” rapper was agitated by homegirl’s questions–which he supposedly claims were NOT pre-approved– and ultimately blasted the socio-political crusade out of anger.
In response, ABC is reportedly maintaining that nothing was pre-approved with Wayne’s camp, and, “When it came to the questions and the topics of the interview nothing was off limits.”
BOOOM. BOOOM…

Word on the block has it that the rapper is so pissed about his momentary fall from grace that he allegedly fired his publicists when the segment aired.

SHEEESH..

NO ONE IS SAFE…
