Litty Again: Ice Cube confirms fourth “Friday” sequel [VIDEO]

ISSA THING…

While most movie sequels historically leave audiences overly underwhelmed and devastatingly disappointed, Ice Cube’s duo follow-up films to the 1995 Hip-Hop classic, Friday, have proven to be warmly-welcomed exceptions to the rule. And now, the 47-year-old Compton-bread culture curator has confirmed that he is in fact gearing up to produce a fourth motion picture to perfectly round off the hood’s favorite cinematic tetralogy…

During a guest appearance alongside “Swalla” singer, Jason DeRulo, on The Late Late Show with James Corden, the N.W.A. rapper announced that he and his cohorts were in the throes of developing a comedic spin-off flick that will presumably echo the hilarious storylines featured in the original Friday, 2000’s Next Friday, and 2002’s Friday After Next.

“We’re working on one right now,” Cube revealed of his movie series after Jason confessed to being a lifelong fan of the trilogy. “We’re gonna call it Last Friday.”
Confirmation of the fourth Friday comes just a few weeks after black Hollywood’s beloved “Pops” A.K.A. actor John Witherspoon–who’s masterfully played the father of Cube’s character in the movie chain– announced that he and the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductee were in talks of creating the film’s forthcoming final chapter.
YASSSSSS…
In addition to leaking the info about Last Friday during his interview with James Corden, Ice Cube also recalled on his mother’s reaction to “Fuck the Police” and spilled on his upcoming BIG3 summer basketball league.

PEEP..

DO YOU WANT TO SEE A 4TH FRIDAY OR NAH, SHOULD THEY LEAVE WELL-ENOUGH ALONE? WHY?

THOUGHTS?
