Making the Major Key: Diddy and DJ Khaled tapped to judge new Hip-Hop TV show

America’s Next Top Hip-Hop honcho is poised to be discovered by the likes of Diddy and DJ Khaled, who are believed to be in talks to serve as judges for an upcoming reality competition series.

Music’s finest are reportedly wheeling and dealing with Fox for forthcoming talent show The Four, on which Hip-Hop hopefuls will artistically duke it out for the opportunity to skyrocket off into the celebrity stratosphere as the industry heavyweights’ creative baby…

Sources connected to the developing program tell TMZ neither Diddy, who’ll act on the judge panel as “the mogul,” nor Khaled, who’ll fulfill the role of “the producer,” have officially signed on as definite participants, but negotiations are far along.

Joining the larger-than-life Bad Boy leading man and the Snap Chat-happy “Wild Thoughts” mastermind in the show’s quadrant of genre experts will be a songwriter and a performer, with at least one of the empty judge slots going to a female luminary.

With a heavy emphasis o the culture, The Four will reportedly be an ongoing battle, with new competitors trying to knock out the front-runners. In the end, the champion’s career will be launched by the entire judges panel — a mogul, a producer, a songwriter, and someone to perform with onstage.

So far, no word on when the Fox show is slated to premiere.
