Medical examiner determines Shawty Lo’s cause of death

As the Hip-Hop realm continues to mourn it’s fallen prince of snap music, Shawty Lo, medical examiners have come forward with the results of his autopsy report…
On Wednesday, the 40-year-old founding member of rap collective, D4L, was killed in a fiery car accident while leaving ATL’s Blue Flame strip club.

The “Dunn Dunn” rapper was pronounced dead at the scene after his 2016 Audi hit two trees and his body was eject from the vehicle. His death came just one week after the sudden passing of his beloved father.
According to an autopsy report from the Fulton County, GA Medical Examiner’s Office, obtained by Bossip, Shawty’s cause of death has been ruled as, “blunt force injuries to the head,” stemming from the crash…
Fulton County Medical Examiner Investigator Betty Honey reportedly maintains that her office performed a preliminary test which revealed that the father of 11 did NOT have any alcohol in his system…Though they didn’t test him for drugs because the case was finalized and no one had been charged.
“It’s a waste of effort,” Honey said. “Even if he was drunk or high, the outcome was still the same.”

Last night, music lovers took to the streets of Atlanta in memoriam of the late “Laffy Taffy” spitter with a candle light vigil– during which they blasted Shawty’s hit tracks and hit his signature dance moves…
Today, Philly representative, Beanie Sigel, and rapper Hot Boy Turk are slated to perform a tribute concert at Club Onyx in Baltimore in honor of the deceased “Dey Know” lyricist… a concert Shawty originally planned to give for his dad.
So far, none of Shawty Lo’s family members have publicly spoken about the tragic loss of the microphone rockstar.
