Memphitz Wright’s loses “Love And Hip Hop Atlanta” defamation appeal

If Toya Wright’s ex-husband thought he’d be catching a win in his ongoing legal battle with VH1’s Love And Hip-Hop Atlanta producers… He thought wrong as hell.

On Tuesday, the Georgia Court of Appeals denied Memphitz Wright’s appeal in a defamation case against the reality TV pushers for airing content in which he was allegedly defamed by his former girlfriend, K. Michelle, according to

In his original lawsuit, the 31-year-old music producer claimed he was slandered by his “VSOP,” singing ex who openly discussed being a victim of domestic violence at the hands of an old boyfriend   throughout LHHATL’s debut season, back in 2012.
Though his name was never mentioned on the popular VH1 program, it didn’t take long for nosey nosers to assume that Memphitz was the abusive ex-lover described in K. Michelle’s Love and Hip-Hop storyline– an accusation he vehemently denied via social media.

In 2015, Fulton County, GA judge Robert McBurney ruled in favor of the LHH production squad which included NFGTV, Inc. (Eastern TV), and Monami Entertainment LLC.
So far, Memphitz has NOT publicly commented on his appeal being denied.
