Migos’ Offset talks jail, copping plea deal, and being BANISHED from counties in Georgia [VIDEO]

BANNED FROM THE BANDO…

Though your boy, Offset, of rap squad Migos, has been freed from jail, it seems the plea deal he copped for causing a riot behind bars has also barred him from entering several counties throughout his home state of Georgia..

COLD WORLD, NO SNUGGIE..

SO CATCH THIS MESS…

A few weeks following his release from jail after sitting in the clink for 8 months, the 23-year-old “Fight Night” spitter spilled guts to Atlanta station WSB-TV about his thoughts on being behind the wall and the plea deal he took.

As previously reported on Cheekywiki, Offset–along with his Migos brothers, Quavo and TakeOff–were all arrested during their concert at Georgia Southern University on drugs and guns charges back in April.

While Quavo and TakeOff were able to make bail, the judge DENIED the sh** out of Offset’s bail due to the many previous infractions he’s made against the law and his involvement in a jailhouse riot that took place while he was locked up…

WELL…

In order to finally rejoin us on the outside, the “Versace” lyricist copped a deal stipulating that he’d receive five years of probation, a $1,000 fine, and be BANNED from the Ogeechee circuit which includes Bulloch, Effingham, Screven, and Jenkins counties in GA.

GOT ZAMN. GOT ZAMN. GOT ZAMN…

While choppin it up with WSB-TV, Offset said he’d never heard of anyone being banished from a county before and struggled to compare his punishment to that of someone who carried out a crime against the nation.

“That’s something like if a terrorist comes over here or something,” he said about the extreme plea deal rule…

NAH B…

ITS NOT REALLY LIKE THAT…

Though Offset wasn’t pleased with being the only member of his squad left to rot in jail, he made it clear that he feels God had him endure the pain of prison in order to make him a better man…

“It was like a slap in the face and I didn’t understand where it came from or why I had to do it. [It was] something I had to go through with me and God,” he said. “I had to sit down to see my opportunity so I can take advantage of it to the most that I can.”

The rapper also spilled on how grateful he was that his fans held him down while throughout his incarceration.

“To all my fans, I love y’all, I wouldn’t have made it without you.”
