Mo’Nique wants compassion for Ray Rice

Comedienne Mo’Nique takes an unprecedented stance for Ray Rice in his domestic violence scandal.
She agrees that Rice needs to be held accountable for his actions, but she would like to see more people practice compassion as oppose to criticism.
“We speak of religion. We speak of forgiveness, but the moment someone messes up, we say, ‘Throw ‘em away and get rid of them,’” Mo’Nique said on “Good Day L.A.”
Using her own experience with physical altercations in past relationships, the actress alluded to the fact that men and woman should both be held accountable when it comes to domestic violence and that she feels Janay Rice (wife of Ray) standing by him through this entire ordeal is a “good thing.”
“It was horrible what he did,” she said. “It was tragic for us to see that happen to that young woman. There is no excuse for that. On the other side of it, there’s the beauty in it because you see this woman saying, ‘I’m going to stand by my husband,’” explained Mo’Nique.
Instead of RIPPING Ray Rice apart she suggests RALLYING around him in support and love.
She goes on to say, “At what point do the men rally around this young man…Be held accountable, but let’s not rip them apart…We rip each other apart so much,” she said. “In our worst moment, we would want empathy…Hopefully what we will get is compassion.”
Are we HERE for Nikki Parker aka Mo’Nique’s compassion for Ray Rice or are we THROWING that whole ideology a smooth HAIR FLIP?
