More Life for Thug Life??: Suge Knight suggests TuPac Shakur is still alive

Incarcerated and legally blind once upon a time rap mogul, Suge Knight, has just resurrected the culture’s longest running suspicion that late left coast G.O.A.T., TuPac Shakur, isn’t really dead.

Though the slain “Ghetto Gospel” guru—who, at 25, was was gunned down during a drive-by shooting by an unknown “bow-tie” wearing assailant while riding through the streets of Las Vegas alongside Suge on September 7, 1996— has been gone for over two decades, conspiracy theories suggesting the emcee’s continued existence have coursed through the veins of the Hip-Hop realm for years…

During a phone interview for FOX special, Who shot Biggie and Tupac?, with rapper/Law & Order: SVU actor, Ice T and journalist Soledad O’Brien, the jailed 52-year-old Death Row Records honcho gave more life to longstanding hunches that Pac may still be with us.

“When Pac died… if he really did, you know,” Suge stunningly served while chopping it up with Ice and Soledad for their investigation into the unsolved murders of the “California Love” lyricist and his East Coast friend-turned-rival, Biggie Smalls…

Per footage of their on-camera conference, obtained by TMZ, when asked what he meant by challenging the validity of Tupac’s passing, the infamously cigar puffing producer—who witnessed the “Changes” crooner being shot six days before he actually died on Sept. 13, 1996— clarified, “I mean when I left that hospital, me and Pac was laughing and joking. So I don’t see how someone can turn from doing well to doing bad.”

Gobsmacked by Suge’s intimations, Soledad questioned if he seriously thought his deceased homie was really alive, to which the hulking rap figure responded, “I’m gonna tell you with Pac, you never know.”

Suge’s musings, along with other new accounts of both Pac and Biggie’s shootings from people who were present, will be featured in Ice T and Soledad O’Brien’s Who Shot Biggie & Tupac?, which airs Sunday, September 24 on Fox.

Of course, Suge will be watching it from the L.A. County jail —until one of his larger and more menacing fellow inmates needs to watch his favorite soap opera— where he’s currently awaiting trial on murder and attempted murder charges for allegedly running his truck into two men at a burger stand during the filming of N.W.A. biopic, Straight Outta Compton.
