N.W.A. and Janet Jackson nominated for 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

WINNING…

Janet Jackson and N.W.A are leading the pack on the ballot of the 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominees.

YASSS…

Today’s announcement of Janet’s nomination for Hall of Fame glory comes on the heels of the release of her comeback album, Unbreakable, which was followed up by a massive world tour.

Similarly, the honorable nod for the Compton based rap group–comprised of Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, DJ Yella, and MC Ren– comes a few short months after the release of their box office blazing biopic “Straight Outta Compton.”

Other artists accompanying the Hip-Hop royalty on the stacked 2016 R&RHOF ballot include Chicago, Cheap Trick, Yes, Deep Purple, and The Smiths.

From here, voters will decide which artists get to be forever immortalized in the Hall of Fame, then the winners will be announced in December and honored at an induction ceremony in April.

WE’RE CROSSING OUR FINGERS FOR MS. JACKSON IF YOU’RE NASTY AND THE N****S WITH ATTITUDE.

THINK THEY HAVE A SHOT?
