NFL all in Adrian Peterson biddness

Reports say that The NFL contacted Texas prosecutors on Monday, requesting all available information on the Adrian Peterson child abuse case, According to TMZ Sports.
News of alleged child abuse inflicted by Minnesota Vikings star Adrian Peterson hit airwaves late last week. Adrian was indicted after it was reported to the police that the boy was injured and bruised after a visit with Peterson.

It’s alleged that the marks on the boy were inflicted by Peterson while he beat the child with a tree branch or a “switch”

According to the police report, the child told authorities he had also been hit by a belt and there were “a lot of belts in daddy’s closet.”

An official from the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office stated that the prosecutors only released what they have already made public.  Apparently, the NFL is not entitled to the case file since it is not a law enforcement agency.

Sources say, The D.A. Official says the Minnesota Vikings organization has NOT made contact with prosecutors.

The NFL is moving quickly in its attempt to launched a thorough investigation in the wake of severe criticism over the way it handled the Ray Rice investigation.
Peterson issued a statement through his lawyer saying, “The charged conduct involves using a switch to spank his son. This indictment follows Adrian’s full cooperation with authorities who have been looking into this matter. Adrian is a loving father who used his judgement as a parent to discipline his son. He used the same kind of discipline with his child that he experienced as a child growing up in East Texas.”
