Kendall & Kylie’s brand denies exploiting TuPac pics in failed T-shirt line

DID WE DO THAT????

Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s clothing company is everything BUT here for receiving lawsuit lashings for unlawfully finessing copy-written images of late left coast legend, TuPac Shakur, in their now-defunct vintage T-Shirt collection…

NOT TODAY…

Keeping up with the suits and cases seems to be the latest trend throughout the many sprawling Kardashian-Jenner estates…As the brand belonging to Rob Kardashian’s youngest sister’s released a statement denying claims it “misappropriated and wrongfully exploited at least two original photographs” in its controversial release of $125 tops featuring pictures of the Jenners superimposed over snapshots of Pac, Biggie Smalls, Ozzy Osbourne, Pink Floyd, and a host of other musical icons.

In a copyright infringement suit, filed by Michael Miller in a Los Angeles federal court on Friday, the commercial photographer–who’s responsible for taking several pictures of the “California Love” lyricist featured in the Kendall + Kylie line– seeks $150,000 apiece for the reality stars’ unjustifiable use of his work…

Per a statement published today in response to Michale’s filings, the Ks’ company argues that absolutely NO infringement went down since the “vintage” shirts were purchased pre-printed from a company that was already licensed to sell them as-is.

“Canada Inc, the licensee manufacturer of the K + K brand, purchased a very small quantity of vintage T-shirts with performer images already on them,” the line’s statement, according to Spin, reads. “Canada Inc did not copy anyone’s image, remove any copyright notice from any image, or attempt to exploit Mr Miller’s claimed right of publicity.”

Kendall and Kylie’s company clap-backingly adds, “The allegations made are completely false and the lawsuit is baseless,” while also noting that only two ‘Pac shirts were sold before the collection was DEADED following a deluge of digital backlash in June.
BOOOOP…
