Offset co-signs Cardi B’s “choke hold” incident w/ NYPD; believes there are “Hip-Hop cops”

Though the NYPD claims to have “no record or any other information to support the validity” of Cardi B’s claims she was brutally manhandled by a white police officer on Tuesday, her “Slippery” spitting sweetheart, Offset, believes Hip-Hop cops are out to lock down some of the culture’s finest.

Following his “Bodak Yellow” booming bae’s explosive since-delete series of tweets, in which she alleged a law enforcement agent put her in a chokehold, the 25-year-old Migos rapper jumped on TMZ further detailing Cardi’s conveniently undocumented experience with 12, and confirming the existence of cops who specifically target rap hitmakers.

“At first when she called, I ain’t think she was being serious until I seen her face. Then, I was like, ‘Dang, the police can’t put their hands on you,'” Offset—who recently launched a $500K fundraising campaign for the American Cancer Society in honor of his late grandma, Sallie Ann Smith—recalled of his initial reaction to the supposed police brutality his 24-year-old Bronx reppin’ honey endured.

After revealing the cops suspiciously failed to address two men that were fighting at the scene of Cardi’s purported assault, the “T-Shirt” rhymer helplessly noted the formidability of America’s badged powers that be…

“You can’t stop the police,” he said. “The police kill people everyday and get away with it.”

When asked his thoughts on the alleged secret unit of law enforcement tasked with pinning crimes on innocent rap rockstars, Offset said, “Hip-Hop police, oh yeah, they’re real for sure.”

At this point, Cardi has yet to publicly readdress her encounter with the cops…
