According to a new court filing via X’s lawyer, Murray Richman, obtained by the New York Daily News, the “Party Up” spitter can leave the confines of his home for work as long as he’s accompanied by a round-the-clock sober coach who’ll ensure he stays on the straight and narrow…

Per the judge’s orders, the lyrical father of 15–who’s August 21-24 trip to Atlanta has been green lighted–must be “accompanied at all times” by a sober coach and is also required to pay out of pocket for his 24-hour chaperone …

“We’re ecstatic about the court’s decision giving Mr. Simmons the opportunity to perform and continue his career,” the “Get At Me Dog” emcee’s attorney said following the judge’s Friday afternoon ruling.

As previously reported on Cheekywiki, last week, DMX’s requests for freedom to travel to Atlanta, Vegas, Philly, and L.A. for work-related gigs throughout August and September were shot down by hizzoner, who made it clear the rapper’s touring inquiries needed to be made at least a week in advance.

Prosecutors also raised concerns that X might relapse on drugs if given the ability to freely move around outside of his home state.

Here’s hoping the rap legend’s newly appointed sober coach can truly help DMX keep his nose clean once and for all…
