“I’m not comfortable,” was the most Marvin Gaye’s estate attorney was going to get out of Pharrell Williams during an interview concerning the copyright infringement of Gaye’s song “Got To Give It Up.”

A while ago, both Pharrell and Robin Thicke were accused and found guilty of sampling music from the late legend’s classic record for their 2013 hit, “Blurred Lines.”

Before the “Lost Without You” singer and Skateboard P were ordered to cough up $5 MILLION to Marvin Gaye’s estate, they were interviewed by attorney Richard Busch for background on how their song came about…

 
AND THE INTERVIEWS WERE MESSY AF…

 
Some recently unearthed footage of their chats with the lawyer show an emotionally unavailable Pharrell giving NO F**ks about the questions being tossed his way …

When the lawyer asks him about a Bluegrass beat the 42-year-producers says,”You should check it out…I’m not a teacher…I’m not here to teach you music.”

Later, when challenged by the Gaye family’s legal rep to read and explain musical notes, P replied “I’m not comfortable…” a response he repeatedly used for the duration of his interview…
