Slick Rick receives U.S. citizenship after 40 years

LA DI DA DI…
Slick Rick has a whole new reason to party as he’s finally been naturalized as an American Citizen after 40 years in the country.
COME THRU RICKY…

SO CATCH THIS..
On Friday, the 51-year-old British Hip-Hop legend who’s blessed the genre with classic hits such as “La Di Da Di,” “Children’s Story,” and “Hey Young World,” celebrated receiving his U.S. citizenship after decades of issues with immigration and several threats of deportation back to England.
Sporting his signature eye patch, some wrinkled pants, and a mile wide Kool-aid smile, Rick presented his legal documentation to friend, fans, and family outside a NYC courthouse and said, “I am so proud of this moment — and so honored to finally become an American citizen,” according to TMZ.

As most Hip-Hop head already know, although the self-proclaimed “Ruler” of the rap game was granted a pardon after getting arrested in 1990 for self-defense shooting, he still struggled to obtain citizenship for the last 23 years.
Now that he’s officially an American, the boogie down Bronx representative will reportedly have dual citizenship her and in England.
THATS WHATS UP..

WELCOME BIG BRUH…
