According to reports, 100% of the proceeds will go to the Shawn Carter Foundation’s educational programs and scholarship fund.

“Our goal is to touch as many people as we possibly can,” Gloria– co-founder of The Shawn Carter Foundation (which has raised $4 million for underprivileged youths since 2003)– revealed to Billboard of the organization’s decision to team up with eBay for Charity.
“There are so many young people—a lot of whom are first-generation students—that have the desire to attend college but don’t have the funds. My mother and father taught us to pay it forward and give to the community. That was my inspiration for the foundation. It makes me feel so blessed to be put in a situation where I can help the next generation,” she added.

In addition to bidding on goodies from the Blueprint mastermind, fans who choose to participate in the special auction will have the opportunity to take home celebrity belongings from the likes of Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato, meet the New York Yankees’ CC Sabathia or the Seattle Mariners’ Robinson Cano, and even be entered to win a VIP Day at Roc Nation headquarters.
LITTTY TOO TITTY…

The Shawn Carter Foundation and eBay for Charity campaign started yesterday (May 15) at 5 a.m. EST and is all set to continue until May 24 at 1 p.m. EST.
