Hurt Feelings: Steve Harvey addresses the SHADE he caught for Donald Trump meeting

SURVEY SAYS…. FOH!

Acting as an extended family joined together via social media, the majority of the African American community collectively hit Family Feud host, Steve Harvey, over the head with a massive “X” in disgust following his shocking meeting with Donald Trump.

Calling the 60-year-old comedian– who once angrily voiced his disdain for the incoming Oval Office honcho– a “coon,” “sell-out,” and “disgrace,” a number of pissed off Trump detractors mercilessly dragggggggged Steve by his three surviving hair follicles up and down digital timelines for holding conference with the mostly-hated president-elect.

WELL…

In response to the hellish trolling he received from his disgruntled fans via Twitter, Instagram, and even the jokesters on Saturday Night Live, the “Steve Harvey” talk show host took to radio airwaves to address the controversy.

“A lot of y’all hurt me. I didn’t expect the backlash to be so fierce,” he said during his broadcast on Monday. “But I also understand that if I’m going to keep getting stabbed at, then at least while you’re stabbing me, you should understand my intent for even taking the meeting in the first place. I’m from the hood. I’ve been trying to do my part for years for boys and girls.”
In assessment of his one-on-one with Trump, Steve said he felt confident that their conversation might inspire a happy change in the climate surrounding the commencement of the 70-year-old real estate tycoon’s impending presidency– a situation most only view as negative.

“When I walked away, [I felt] there might be a real chance for some positive to come out of what many feel is doom and gloom,” he said.

Caping for her man, the Act Like A Woman, Think Like A Man creator’s wifey, Marjorie Harvey, took to Instagram commending her boo for meeting with the POTUS-to-be despite it being the unpopular decision.

“Doing the right thing sometimes isn’t popular…..but it’s okay,” she wrote as a caption of a picture of them smiling together. “You always make me proud!”

SIS… WE GET THE WHOLE “DONT BITE THE HAND THAT FEEDS YOU” SWAG..BUT COME ON…
