Suge Knight’s fiancé and business partner indicted for selling hit-and-run tape

It seems the achilles’ heel for incarcerated Death Row Records head honcho, Suge Knight, was his fiancé who, along with rap heavyweight’s business partner, was indicted for allegedly selling the surveillance footage of his hit-and-run accident to TMZ…

On Wednesday, Toilin Kelly, the sus sweetheart of Hip-Hop’s cigar-tottingest tough guy, plead not guilty to counts of conspiracy to obstruct justice, conspiracy to violate a court order, and conspiracy to commit grand theft for her presumed involvement in brokering a $55,000 deal with the popular entertainment news outlet in exchange for video of Suge’s vehicle fatally striking actor Terry Carter in the parking lot of Tam’s Burgers in Compton, Calif.

Suge is currently in jail and awaiting trial for murder in connection with the incident.

According to Variety, Mark Blankenship, the hefty West Coast legend’s work homie, was not present at the hearing, but will soon face a judge on the same charges.

Back in July, a grand jury issued the indictment against both Mark and Suge’s girlfriend; however, the presiding judge unsealed the details of the case, this week, following Toilin’s not guilty plea.

The LA County District Attorney’s Office reportedly believed Suge’s boo and business partner spent nearly a month orchestrating a deal with TMZ for the sale of the surveillance video—which was allegedly being held as evidence in the case and subject to a protective order forbidding its release to the public.

If convicted, Toilin and Mark face up to three years in prison.
