The Weeknd SUED for allegedly STEALING the beat to “The Hills”

COMING FOR COIN…

Despite the ultra LIT year he’s had on the charts, “Earned It” singer, The Weeknd, is ending 2015 with a lawsuit being filed against for allegedly STEALING the beat of his hit track, “The Hills.”

OOOP…

PEEP THIS…

The 25-year-old Pop god is being sued by a company named Cutting Edge Music that claims “The Hills” contains a baseline featured in the score of a movie called, “The Machine,” according to the lawsuit obtained by TMZ.

C.E.M. also maintains that they own the licensing rights to the jammy and NEVER EVER EVER gave Weeknd the thumbs up to use it on “The Hills.”

AND TO MAKE MATTERS TF WORSE…

The Weeknd’s own producer has low key ADMITTED to the theft of the song…
BRUHHH…

ITS NOT LIT…

Back in March, the producer of the track tweeted how impressed he was with the musical composition and said, “it might make it 2 the Weeknd next album.”

And just two months after that tweet, “The Hills” hit our eardrums and became a one of the most listened to songs of this year….

WELL C.E.M. AINT HERE FOR IT…

The company is demanding that Weeknd cough up hella COIN via the profit he made from the song…

So far, the singer has NOT made any public statements about his latest legal woes…
