Tiffany Haddish clarifies her Bill Cosby “drink the juice” comments: “It was a not-good joke”

OOOOOPSYYY…

Girls Trip baddie, Tiffany Haddish, says her willingness to “drink the juice” via accused sexual predator, Bill Cosby, was nothing more than a “bad joke.”

GIRRRRRRRRLLLLL…

At the dawning of the week, Hollywood’s 37-year-old rookiest comedienne was digitally dragged through the social media swamps for jokingly agreeing to teaming up with the embattled 80-year-old television icon– who’s been fingered for raping over 50 women with the assistance of drugs and mixed concoctions…

“Bill Cosby – I still want to work with Bill Cosby,” Tiffany wisecracked during an interview with the Los Angeles Times. “I don’t care, I’ll drink the juice. I’ll drink the juice. I’ll take a nap. I don’t give a damn.”

In the days since finding herself engulfed in Twitter hellfire for her frigidly received remarks, the California bred big-screen newcomer cleared up her comments by admitting she was just trying to be funny…

“I don’t know if you’ve ever been interviewed before. You do 27 interviews and you’re supposed to be humorous all that time. You’re gonna say some bad jokes,” Tiffany said on the panel of the Television Critics Association press tour in Beverly Hills, on Thursday. “You’re gonna come up with a few not-good jokes. I was trying to make it seem like I’m not afraid to do anything. I’m not afraid of any kind of job, I’m not afraid to play any kind of role, as long as it doesn’t compromise my morals.”

The star of Tracy Morgan’s upcoming TBS series, The Last O.G., added, “I don’t agree with what he did, but at the end of the day, I’m not afraid of the big bad wolf. That’s what I was trying to say and I was trying to say it in a humorous way.”

OKAY, SIS…

WE HEAR YOU…

As for Bill Cosby, the fallen star is slated to be retried on three charges of assault in November 2017, after he narrowly avoided a conviction on Father’s Day weekend as a jury declared itself deadlocked on charges he drugged and molested a woman more than a decade ago.
