Troy Ave suing Irving Plaza for lackadaisical security during shooting

Troy Ave is coming for Irving Plaza over its insufficient security on the night bullets rang out inside the venue leaving him injured and his friend dead..

Three months after the massacre that occurred at the New York City concert hall during T.I.’s headlining show in May, the 30-year-old “Doo Doo,” spitter has moved to file a lawsuit against the Live Nation owned spot for failing to provide proper security at the Hip-Hop gathering.

According to reports, the Brookyln rapper blames the joint’s lackluster security measures for allowing a gun to enter the venue.

Though Troy–who was initially charged with attempted murder for the May 25th shooting– is currently out on $500,000 bail, he has been ordered to wear an electronic ankle monitor, forced to stay in New York, and prohibited from attended clubs, bars, arenas, and stadiums..
He’s also still facing numerous serious charges.
As for the Irving Plaza surveillance footage–which captured Troy Ave with a weapon in his hand during the shoot out–his attorney is reportedly arguing that the emcee took the gun from the man who killed his friend, Ronald McPhatter, and returned fire.
No word on how much Troy plans on scoring in his suit against the concert venue…but we hope he puts the COIN to good use..
